Jane Eppel was born in Cape Town in 1979.  Majoring in printmaking, in 2001 she received a B.A. in Fine Art from the Michaelis School of Art, UCT.

In addition to various solo exhibitions in Cape Town, (Irma Stern Gallery, Bell Roberts Gallery and the South African Print Gallery), Jane has participated in many group shows throughout South Africa. She has also shown her work in New York and London, alongside the work of her husband, artist Nic Bladen. 

Jane currently exhibits her large-scale prints at the Everard Read Gallery in London, Cape Town and Franschhoek, as well as at Knysna Fine art Gallery. She is currently working on a new body of work, to be exhibited in 2024.
